2019 Lottery

Draw was made 1 P.M. June 15th, 2019.

At the Lindsay Fairgrounds

Winners were.

   1st Prize: 1quarter beef (hind)

Won by Luke Saunders of Alberta. Bought his ticket at the Paisley show last August.

           2nd Prize:  Massey Harris 55 pedal tractor

Won by Richard Charron of Seagrave.

3rd Prize: $250.00 Cash

Won by Don Daigle of Oakwood

                                                 

Ticket sales went well. Thanks’ to all those who sold tickets, and to all those who

purchased tickets.

SILENT AUCTION

In addition to the silent auction which runs Saturday and Sunday as individual auctions, there was a separate silent auction for this Owl Carving- pictured below.

Opening bid was set at $150.00. This auction ran 3 days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The wood carver was at the show Sunday doing a demonstration.

Winning bid was $185.00 and was won by: Flo O’Donoghue. Congratulations.

Winner of the Owl carving can also have their name or inscription carved in as well.


Winner of the 2016 lottery was:

Congratulations to Blain Thompson of 6 Waddell St., Sunderland, ON who won the 1945 Farmall BN tractor.  Below is a picture of our President, Laurie Ptolemy congratulating Blain.  We hope Blain will bring the tractor to our future shows.

Proceeds to go toward maintaining a museum and preservation center for the display, maintenance and preservation of agricultural equipment and machinery in keeping with the objects of the Letters Patent of Kawartha Antique Power. $10.00 per ticket (3,000 tickets printed) Licence No. M768185

2016 Draw took place on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. during the 38th Annual Heritage Show at the Lindsay Fairgrounds. Winners of the 2015 lottery were:

  • Art Williams of County Road 46 Oakwood, ON won the 1st prize of the Minneapolis-Moline Pedal tractor valued at $500

  • Michele Stephenson-Tutt of King St. W., Omemee, ON won the 2nd prize of $400

  • Alex McGill whose grandfather Dave McGill of Peniel Rd., Woodville, ON purchased the ticket for him won the 3rd prize of $300, and

  • Jane Hollinger of Braddock Dr., Nepean, ON won the 4th prize of $200

Congratulations to all our winners and many thanks to our members who sold 1,226 tickets for the lottery.  Only 174 tickets remained unsold out of the 1,400 tickets printed using Licence No. M755232.  The proceeds of $4,612.60 are going toward completing the construction of a storage building to house donated club equipment.
